Book notes
Ego Is the Enemy

Great book, highly recommended. It's one of my top book recommendations for anyone curious about self-improvement. It brings a much deeper level of philosophical thinking to the genre of self-improvement.
Book's Chapter What is important to you?
- Greek word: Euthymia(εὐθυμία)
- Means tranquility.
- To be the best we can be.
- It's essential to know what you want.
- It's more important to know why we want it.
- You might accidentally end up living a life that was not of your choosing.
- It's more important to know why we want it.
Success
- Ignore the concept of successful people. Oftentimes their success is not your success.
- What they call success for themselves might end up not being good for you.
- Sometimes even what they project as their success is not even fulfilling for themselves.
- It's important to develop an internal confidence that goes beyond external recognition.
- Not to need anything outside ourselves to call our lives a success.
- The illusion: the common lie of thinking that once you get what someone else has, only then will you be happy.
- Find out why you are after what you are chasing.
